Rehabilitation Efforts: Providing assistance and progress of school reconstruction

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw attended a ceremony in Sagaing on Saturday, to provide construction materials to families affected by the recent earthquake.

The Chief Minister expressed sympathy for those affected and pledged that the regional government will continue to assist in addressing the social, economic, educational, and health challenges caused by the disaster. He also handed over more than 50 million kyats cash assistance and construction materials to the local disaster management committee for distribution to affected families.

Later, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the rebuilding of damaged basic education schools, including new RC school buildings under construction in Sataing Township. He instructed responsible personnel to ensure quality completion of all projects within the designated timeframe.
