Regional Peace: BNRA group leader and family enter legal fold

Leader of the BNRA group, Naing Lin @ Nagar, and his family have entered the legal fold after surrendering to security forces in Sagaing Region.

They contacted a Tatmadaw security unit operating in Pale Township at around 4:50 p.m., bringing with them six assorted weapons and related accessories. Officials from the regional security headquarters welcomed them and provided required support, medical assistance and administrative arrangements.

Further verification will be carried out in line with procedures. The government continues to invite members of PDF and other armed groups to return to the legal framework, offering necessary assistance to those who do so.
