Regional Peace and Stability: MOI Union Minister visits Loikaw, Kayah State

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn visited Loikaw Township, Kayah State, on Sunday morning to observe regional peace and stability.

The Union Minister, accompanied by artists, was welcomed in Heho by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung. They then proceeded to Loikaw, where Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin and other departmental officials welcomed them.

During the trip, the Union Minister and the Chief Minister paid homage to Taungkwe Pagoda, and visited the Loikaw Information and Public Relations Department, providing cash assistance to the staff and offering words of encouragement. In the evening, artists including Academy winners Yan Aung, May Than Nu, Soe Myat Thuzar, and others staged entertaining programs to the departmental staff and local community as part of the trip.
