Regional Development: Schools, hospital and public facilities in Hkamti inspected

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, together with Sagaing Region Chief Minister visited the Basic Education High School (Branch) in Myoma Ward of Hkamti on 1st July.

The Union Minister and party inspected the students learning peacefully in the school, durability of school buildings and beautifying the environs. They also met with the teachers and presented honorary cash awards to the school Principal.

They later proceeded to No.1 Basic Education High School and inspected the students learning, buildings and beautifying tasks. They also gave instructions to the teachers and provided honorary cash awards to the school Principal.

The Union Minister and party later arrived at the Sport Grounds, and inspected the stadium, bleachers, beautifying and fencing the football ground. On arrival at Hkamti People’s Hospital, the Union Minister and party encouraged the local people receiving treatment, and provided cash assistance to the health staff and patients.

At the launching ceremony of “We Love Hkanti” signboard and steel handrail along the strand road, Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw made a speech. After formal opening of the ceremony, the Union Minister and party inspected the completed installation of steel handrails along the strand road.
