Regional Development: Sagaing Region CM inspects development works in Lahe

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, together with the officials, met with departmental personnel in Lahe of Naga Self-Administered Zone on 29th October.

The Chief Minister explained the development endeavours for regional stability, development of industrial and transportation sectors, and betterment of socio-economic status of local people.

Officials also discussed the work undertakings and plans to provide assistance as well as works processes to be carried out by the State Economic Development Fund. The Chief Minister and officials later presented the capital funds to the local entrepreneurs who will engage in agriculture, livestock breeding and production works. More than 2.8 billion kyats were provided during the meeting.

The Chief Minister and party later visited Ant Paw Village and met with the local ethnic people from AntPaw, TaikYan and Laung KyanNauk Kone Villages.

The Chief Minister explained the efforts for regional stability and rule of law, education, health, agriculture, livestock breeding, transportation and regional development works. They later inspected the construction progress of Rural Health Department Branch Office and Staff Housing, and met with the teachers at the village primary school.

The Chief Minister and party later inspected the sites to be transform as the highland farming to substitute the terrace farming system, and chosen site for construction of KyaWee Creek Crossing Bridge. They then met with the ethnic people from MaKyan and SanTone Villages, and explained the regional development endeavours.
