Regional Development: SAC Member Visited Sagaing Region

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo, together with the Sagaing Region Chief Minister, the Commander of the Sagaing Command and officials met with the officers, other ranks and their families of Khamti Station on 13th July, Duuring the meeting, the Union Minister provided foodstuffs and COVID-19 prevention gear.

The Union Minister and party also met with the town elders and local ethnic people. They discussed regional development activities, and provided foodstuff. The Union Minister also held a meeting with the district and township level departmental officials at Khamti District Administration Office.

The official reported on the situation in the region and the Union Minister fulfilled the requirements. The Union Minister and party later visited the Khamti People’s Hospital and cordially met the local people who are receiving medical care. The Union Minister also visited the Theravada Buddhist Monastery (Central) and paid homage to the monks and donated offertories.
