









On December 15th, Shan State Chief Minister Dr Kyaw Tun inspected the chosen site for construction of WanTarKhet Bridge on MongPyin-MatMan Road in Shan State (East).
The Bridge is 440 ft long crossing NamtKha Creek, and it has 28 ft wide motorway. Its water clearance is 160 ft wide and 0.5 meter high. The bridge can witstand 60 tons of loads. The construction of the bridge commenced on 1st December this year.
The Chief Minister and party later inspected the work undertakings on MatMan-MongPyin Road and We Love MatMan Viewpoint. In meeting with the departmental personnel in Matman District, the Chief Minister pledged to provide assistance for infrastructure development and providing foodstuff for the staffs.
They also inspected MatMan Fire Station and provided cash assistance. On the 16th, the Chief Minister and party visited Matman People’s Hospital and encouraged the patients. They also inspected construction of retaining wall along MinYanAung Road to Bogyoke Road.
