Regional Development : New library, restoration works and mango orchard

The opening ceremony of the "Tet Nay Tun" library was held in Mhaw Zar Village of Pyay Township on August 16th, with Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win in attendance.

The Chief Minister, along with regional ministers, officially inaugurated the library by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. They also toured the library, donated books and 3 million kyat, and encouraged youth and students to use the library for knowledge and personal development.

Officials were instructed to keep the library open daily and promote public engagement. Following the ceremony, the Chief Minister and officials inspected restoration works on a historical two-story monastery in Thone Pan Hla Monastery compound, urging for quality and timely completion. They also inspected a viewing platform at Kyet Tu Yway Hill in the Sri Ksetra ancient city, giving guidance on environmental preservation and tourist facilities.

They also visited the mango plantation zones in Mhaw Zar and Hmote Shay   Villages, which is being implemented for export, and instructed proper cultivation and intercropping to increase household income.
