Regional Development: MOD Union Minister visits Sagaing Region

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo, together with Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and officials, visited Lahe in Naga Self-Administered Zone on 15th July, and met with the religious leaders.

After hearing the reports, the Union Minister coordinated the requirements and provided foodstuff. The Union Minister later met with the community elders, local ethnic people and cultural troupes at Homalin Air Base, and fulfilled the needs.

At the local battalion, the Union Minister met with the Tatmadawmen and families, and provided foodstuff and COVID-19 preventive items. He also met with the Homalin District departmental personnel, and fulfilled the requirements.

On 16th July, the Union Minister and party visited the military hospital and encouraged the patients. They later met with the Regional level departmental personnel and coordinated essentials.

The Union Minister and party also held a meeting with the townselders and departmental officials in Sagaing.
