









Hailing the Myanmar Women Day which falls on 3rd July, the collective cleaning campaing was organized in the compound of Kachin State Women’s Affairs Organization Office on Saturday.
Cheif Minister U Khet Htein Nan and officials encouraged the campaign, and presented cash assistance to the participants. The collective cleaning task was also carried out at No.9 Basic Education High School.
The Chief Minister later attended the opening ceremony Chinese Speaking Class and Youth Talks in the Community Centre in Myitkyina. The Chief Minister urged the youths to strive for achieving constant progress and development of social life.
He later presented cash assistance to the teachers of Chinese Speaking Class and donated books and periodicals to the liberary. The Chief Minister later viewed the children participating in the colouring contest and presented cash assistance to the children and staff.
The Chief Minister then proceeded to Myitkyina Airport and bid fareware to the Sepak Takraw Team to be participate in 2022 Region and State Competition in Nay Pyi Taw.
On arrival at the Weaving Training in Sitapu Ward, the Chief Minister joined the Workshop on safeguarding the traditional heritage and weaving training. They also viewed the displays of Kachin traditional clothes and urged for development of the traditiona weaving process.
