Regional Dev’t: Senior General Receives PNO Delegation

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Patron of the militia force of the Pa-O National Organization (PNO) U Aung Kham Hti and party at Bayint Naung Yeiktha in Nay Pyi Taw, Thursday.

On the occasion, the Commander-in-Chief gave advice on efforts for the success of agricultural production by using advanced methods as Pa-O region mainly produces tea leaves, potatoes, avocado, onion and other crops.

The Senior General also said that Tatmadaw will provide cooler boxes to store potatoes and also discussed preservation of Mwetaw Kakku Pagodas which is one of the tourist attractions in the region, supporting for development of tourism industry.

Joint Sectrarty-1 of PNO’s Militia Force U Nay Win Tun and party also discussed the needs on construction of a seed laboratory and generation of hydropower for regional development.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing then presented gifts to U Aung Kham Hti and party, according to the information released by the Office of the Commander- in-Chief of Defence Services.
