








On 26th July, Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung accompanied by concerned officials left for Quanzhou of People’s Republic of China to attend Young Leaders Peace Dialogue and The World Youth Conference for Peace via Yangon International Airport.
On 28th July, the Union Minister attended Young Leaders Peace Dialogue and The World Youth Conference for Peace held at the auditorium of Youth Leaders Peace Dialogue Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries National Art Museum of China and made an opening speech.
Subsequently, the Union Minister and officials attended discussions titled Consensus for Peace: Voices of Justice from The Global South Amid Escalating and Prolonged Geopolitical Conflicts and Responsibility for Peace: A Shared Approach to Misinformation Government in Era of AI where about 180 youth representatives from 25 countries actively participated.
On 29th July, the Union Minister and party met with Mr. Li Jing, the Vice Minister of the General Administration of Sport of China and Mrs. Zhang Yu Ping Secretary General of of International Wushu Federation, frankly discussed on preparations of Myanmar’s athletes to participate in 33rd SEA Games and provision of necessary assistance for the development of Myanmar’s Sports Sector.
Next, the Union Minister and officials attended World Youth Conference at Peking University together with about 3,000 youth representatives from over 130 countries. On 30th July, the Union Minister and officials arrived back in Myannar and were welcomed by officials from Chinese Embassy in Myanamr and Department of Sports and Physical Education.
