Regional Cooperation : Meeting with Cambodian and Lao counterparts

During the visit to Anning of China to attend 10th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and related meeting, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe held meetings with Mr. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia on 14 August and Mr. Thongsavanh Phomvihane, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR on 15 August, separately.

During respective meetings, both sides discussed matters relating to further consolidation of existing friendship and promotion of bilateral cooperation. The Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe arrived back from Anning, China in the afternoon of 16 August.
