Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and the regional ministers attended a ceremony to give fertilizer to farmers working for a model plot and a fertilizer sowing ceremony in Ohn Pinsu Village of Taikkyi Township.

There, the Chief Minister pledged to provide assistance for the use of pure strains and systematic use of chemical and organic fertilizers and scientific farming method. Also, concerned regional agriculture officials explained the agriculture sector in Taikkyi Township. And, the Chief Minister and the regional ministers provided bags of chemical fertilizers and fertilizer sowing process at the model plot.

Also, the Chief Minister inspected height adjustment and shoulder filling process of the approach road of Bridge No. 2/9 between mile post No. 8/5 and 8/6 on the Taikkyi-Uto-ChaungThoneKwa-Aphyauk Road, and stressed quality construction.

Also, in Aphyauk Township, the Chief Minister heard reports on the bank maintenance works along the Ayeyawaddy River in the area and the bank collapse in PiTonePaik Village in July and gave necessary instructions. There, he also visited the bank collapse site.

Also, the Chief Minister inspected flood prevention works and provided cash assistance. The Chief Minister also visited the Aphyauk Township 25-bed Hospital and inspected the hospital compound and its wards before providing cash assistance to patients.
