Recognition and Honouring: Staff honoured for the successof Gems Emporium

A ceremony to honour the staff who serve at the 2022 Mid-Year Myanma Gems Emporium took place at Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on 29th October.

Patron of the Central Committee for Organizing the Myanma Gems Emporium Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi attended the ceremony and said the emporium has been held successfully from 19th to 25th October in line with the guidelines of the COVID-19 prevention measures.

It was the fourth emporium, organized during the tenure of State Administration Council. A total of 362 pearl lots, 55 gem lots and 1,836 jade lots have been sold out during the emporium. He added that the success has been achieved due to the work implementations by the staff according to the procedures.

He urged all to provide assistance to the local gems merchants to produce value-added products so as to support the development of MSME industry. The Union Minister and the Deputy Minister later presented honorary cash awards and uniforms to the staff.
