Receiving UNOPS Regional Director: MoH UM received UNOPS Regional Director

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win met with Mr. Sanjay Mathur, Director of the Asia Regional Office of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) based in Bangkok, and his delegation at the Ministry’s meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw on November 5.

During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing health care projects jointly implemented by the Ministry of Health and the UNOPS team in Myanmar, the health care initiatives in collaboration with the Global Fund and Access to Health Fund, the efforts to ensure no shortage of medicines for tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and malaria prevention and treatment, as well as matters related to continued cooperation going forward, it’s reported.
