Receiving Guidance: Selected outstanding students received guidance

An exhortation ceremony for outstanding students selected for the 2025–2026 academic year to receive guidance from Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Ko Lay was held on the morning of April 29 at Thallawati သလ္လာဝတီ Hall of Basic Education High School No. 2,  in Monywa.

In his address, the Chief Minister said that the students had been selected as outstanding achievers after competing step by step at the school, township, district (central), and university levels according to their academic years. He expressed pride and recognition for all the students and encouraged them to carefully observe and learn from their outstanding student tour experience so that, upon returning to their hometowns, they could share their knowledge and experiences with fellow students at their schools and townships.

The Region Education Officer then explained the processes undertaken in selecting the outstanding students for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister awarded cash of honor totaling 16.2 million kyats to the outstanding students and watched their performance of the song “Outstanding Student Strength.”

Next, on behalf of the outstanding students, one student expressed words of thanks. A group documentary photo was taken, and officials warmly greeted the students.

The Chief Minister and officials shared tea and snacks together with the outstanding students, it’s reported.
