Receiving Delegation: MoH UM received delegation of Novosibirsk Region

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win received a delegation led by Mr. Andrei Travnikov, Governor of Novosibirsk Region, Russian Federation, at the meeting hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on November 3.

During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, including enhancing cooperation in the health sector between the Ministry of Health and the Novosibirsk Region, promoting collaboration between hospitals from both sides and conducting medical treatment activities, proposing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for exchange programs for doctors, nurses, and medical professionals, arranging internship training for medical doctors and professionals from both countries to develop health human resources, working towards the mutual recognition of medical licenses and specialist qualifications for doctors from both countries, collaborating on emergency medical services and emergency patient transfer procedures, conducting online consultation and treatment services through collaboration between medical doctors and specialists from both countries.
