








The ceremony for the 51st Anniversary of Rakhine State Day and the conferral ceremony of State Honors were held at the U Ottama Hall in Sittwe on Monday.
First, the 51st Anniversary of Rakhine State Day ceremony was opened with the Mingalar Drum troupe and the Rakhine Traditional Dance Group performing the "Shaing Daing ” song. Following that, the Executive Chief of the National Defense and Security Council Office, U Aung Lin Dwe, read out the message sent by Acting President, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu, Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing, to the 51st Rakhine State Day ceremony.
Subsequently, the State Chief Minister delivered a commemorative address for the 51st Anniversary of Rakhine State Day. Continuing, a documentary video on the Rakhine State Government's regional development efforts was shown in honor of the 51st Anniversary of Rakhine State Day.
Afterwards, Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dwe presented awards to recipients of the State Chief Minister's Good Civil Service Certificate and Medal for the Rakhine State Day commemoration. Then, Union Ministers and the State Chief Minister presented certificates and honorary awards to recipients of the State-Level Management Excellence Medal (First Class), recipients of the State Chief Minister's Good Civil Service Awards, recipients of the Outstanding Trainee Award, and recipients of the State-Level Excellence Awards.
Following that, Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dwe warmly met and greeted the recipients of the honorary awards and certificates of honor, as well as the attendees, and presented cash awards to the Drug and Bugle Corps and Pom Pom dance group. In the afternoon, Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dwe, together with the State Chief Minister, met with local elders and entrepreneurs at the State Government Guest House and held frank and open discussions regarding regional stability, development, and progress activities.
Later, the Executive Chief and officials visited and paid respects to the presiding Sayadaw of the World Buddhist Mission, Maha Jeyya Siddhi Ahdhitthan Kyauk monastery, and the Sayadaw of the Shwe Zedi Monastery. They offered offertories to the Sayadawgyis. In the evening, the Executive Chief, accompanied by officials, attended the 51st Anniversary of Rakhine State Day Honor Dinner held at the Khaing Thazin Hall. They dined together and watched and encouraged the cultural performances and songs presented by the traditional cultural groups of Rakhine State.
