Rakhine State Day: Commemoration Ceremony held in Sittwe

A commemoration ceremony for the 48th Anniversary Rakhine State Day was held in Sittwe on Thursday.

Member of the State Administration Council Daw Aye Nu Sein read out the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Chief Minister Dr Aung Kyaw Min later made a speech, Winners of Excellent Performance in Administrative, Agri-business and social affairs as well as essay and painting competitions were also awarded during the ceremony.

The SAC member and party later viewed the booths displayed there. After the ceremony, the SAC member and party visited MSME Show at Khaing Thazin Park and viewed round the displays of marine products, agriculture products, foodstuff, consumer goods and traditional weaving process.
