Britain's Queen Elizabeth visited the new headquarters of the Royal Philatelic Society in the City of London on Tuesday.

The visit, which marked the 150th anniversary of the society, saw the Queen welcomed by Richard Stock, President, and other officials of the Royal Philatelic Society. During a tour of the building, the Queen signed a visitors' book and unveiled a plaque to inaugurate the new building. The 93-year-old monarch was also shown a collection of philatelic artifacts and stamps of previous British monarchs.
