Qatar's National Day: PM U Nyo Saw attended a dinner reception

A dinner reception to commemorate Qatar's National Day was held at the Lotte Hotel in Yangon in the evening on December 8, attended by the Prime Minister U Nyo Saw and his wife.

The event was attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw, Region Ministers, Ambassadors from foreign embassies, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim, United Nations resident representatives, and invited guests.

First, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Myanmar Mr. Ahmad Ali R.A. AL-Marri and officials warmly welcomed and greeted the Prime Minister U Nyo Saw and the attendees. Subsequently, the ceremony was opened with the national anthems of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the State of Qatar.

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Qatar then delivered a welcoming speech. Following that, the Prime Minister and the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Qatar cut the commemorative cake and took a group commemorative photo with the attendees. Then, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Qatar hosted a dinner in honor of Qatar's National Day for the Prime Minister and the attendees.
