Putin talks with Armenia, Kyrgyzstan presidents

Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks on Monday with the presidents of Armenian and Kyrgyzstan as a summit of the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organisation), a military alliance of select former Soviet states, took place in Moscow. Putin is hosting leaders of CSTO member states - Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan - to mark the organization’s 30th anniversary. Earlier, during the summit's opening speech, Putin said he was hopeful the military alliance "will develop further".
