Putin signs agreements with Kazakh President Tokayev in Astana

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Thursday signed a joint declaration titled "On the Seven Principles of Friendship and Good Neighborliness" in Astana.

During the state visit, both sides also finalized 14 intergovernmental and interagency agreements spanning nuclear energy, oil cooperation, and finance. Besides, the two leaders signed multiple memoranda of understanding for thermal power plant construction in Kazakhstan and the expansion of bilateral oil cooperation.
