Putin on grain supply discussions with Erdogan

Russian President Vladimir Putin held meetings in Iran on Tuesday, seeking to deepen ties with regional heavyweights.

In only his second trip abroad since Russia launched its "special military operation" in February, Putin met Iran's President and Turkish President on pressing issues facing the region, including the conflict in Syria and a UN-backed proposal to resume exports of Ukrainian grain to ease the global food crisis. He also met with Iran's Supreme Leader.
