Public is advised to remain vigilant

Fujian Province in Eastern China activated a Level-4 emergency response for rainstorms on Thursday, according to the provincial flood control and drought relief authorities.

Since Wednesday, heavy rain has been pounding various areas of Fujian.  It is expected that from Thursday to Friday, there will still be heavy rain in areas according to meteorological forecasts. The public is advised to remain vigilant and take precautions against secondary hazards that the heavy precipitation may cause.
