





The Shan State Government, on June 23, held a ceremony at the Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Taunggyi) dining hall to present meal allowances for the trainees of 2025-2026 academic year.
During the ceremony, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung stated that the Shan State Government provided the meal allowances to ensure the trainees at the Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Taunggyi) receive adequate nutrition and proper physical development. He emphasized the need for the trainees to study diligently to become excellent athletes who can be relied upon by the State, fulfilling the expectations of the State Government.
Following this, Chief Minister U Aung Aung presented 70 million Myanmar Kyats in meal allowances for the 2025-2026 academic year trainees at the Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Taunggyi). The principal of the institute and the trainees accepted the funds. After that, the Chief Minister and officials had lunch with the trainees.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the library and the clinic for trainees at the Institute. They coordinated and fulfilled necessary requirements based on the reports from the officials.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, a total of 116 trainees including 66 males and 50 females are studying a combination of sports and education at the Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Taunggyi).
