








Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended a ceremony for the presentation of equipment for a project aimed at creating local small-scale industries and increasing income for rural families during the 2025-2026 fiscal year organized by the Magway District Department of Small-Scale Industries, held at the Magway District combined township office hall on August 5.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin gave an opening speech. He stated that in the 2025-2026 fiscal year, the project would be implemented in 21 villages, creating 105 entrepreneurs. He noted that the project was approved and funded by the Union Government and the regional budget. He said that a total of 30 outstanding trainees including 10 from two sewing courses, 10 from a motorcycle repair course, and 10 from two food production courses, were being presented with work equipment today from the six projects carried out in Magway Region. The Chief Minister and other officials then presented the equipment to those who would be starting their own businesses.
Following this, the Director of the Magway Region Department of Small-Scale Industries gave a presentation explaining the implementation of the project to create small-scale industries and increase income for rural families. Afterward, one of the trainees expressed words of thanks.
After the ceremony, the Chief Minister and officials toured and viewed the displayed work equipment.
