Providing Assistance: Distribution of rice and wheat inspected

Rice and wheat, donated by the Government of India, have been distributing to the needy people in Yangon Region.

On Saturday, the distribution has been made at No.10 (South) and (North) and No.4 (North) Wards of Thaketa Township and No.13 Ward in Dagon Myothit (East) Township.

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thet Thet Khaing, Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Commander of Yangon Region Command Maj-Gen Nyunt Win Swe and officials oversaw the distribution of rice and wheat to the people.

The Union Minister and party also inspected the storage of donated rice and wheat at the warehouse of No.6 Industrial Zone in Hlaingthaya Township.
