Promoting Friendship: SSPC Chairman to pay a working visit to China

Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, at the invitation of Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, will soon pay a working visit to the People’s Republic of China.

During the visit, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit 2025 to be held in Tianjin, and participate in the military parade in Beijing commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

The Senior General will also hold talks with Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, and meet with other heads of state attending the ceremonies, as well as with responsible officials of the Chinese government.

In addition, the Senior General will visit significant places in China, study the fields of education, industry and manufacturing, and economic sectors. The visit is aimed at further strengthening friendship and promoting cooperation between the two governments and peoples in various sectors.
