Prizes Presented: Union Minister Awarded Trophies, Medals And Cash Prizes

The opening, closing and prize presenting ceremonies of the first Sepak Takraw (Men) competition for the Trophy of the Union Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs was held at Wunnatheikdi stadium, Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

The member of the State Administration Council, Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt. Gen. Soe Htut and wife, deputy ministers and their wives, senior officials, members of forces and departments and staff member families of the ministry cheered the competition on.

At the final match, the Myanmar Police Force teams beat the teams of General Administration Department at Sepak Takraw regu and double men competition. Then, the prize presenting ceremony began.

The director generals and permanent secretary presented the best player prizes, then Deputy Minister Major General Soe Tint and Deputy Minister and Chief of Myanmar Police Force Lt. General Than Hlaing awarded prizes to the second winner teams and the wife of Union Minister Daw Nilar Sein presented the prize to the demonstrative women sepak takraw double team. The Union Minister Lt. Gen. Soe Htut awarded trophies, individual medals and cash prizes to the first place winners.

Finally, the Myanmar Police Force Team (Triple) and (Double) presented gifts of honor to the 7 referees from the Ministry of Health and Sports.
