Prize Presenting Ceremony: Taninthayi Region CM attended the ceremony

Under the management of the Tanintharyi Region Government, in collaboration between the Department of Information and Public Relations and the Department of Education, the Library Development and Reading Promotion Festival Award Ceremony was held at the hall of Basic Education High School No. (2), Dawei on July 26.

The ceremony began with performances by students and teachers from Basic Education High School No. (2) and Mudita Private High School, who sang songs and entertained the attendees.

At the ceremony, the Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko, delivered a speech and presented honorary awards to four students who actively participated in youth literature discussions. He also presented awards to students who won in the Upper Secondary Level Impromptu Speech Contest, while Chief Justice of the Region High Court Daw Paik Paik Aye, presented awards to students who won in the high school level Essay Competition.

Following that, region ministers, the region's Advocate General, and responsible officials presented various prizes to the award-winning students and gave commemorative gifts to all participating students.

Additionally, representatives from the Region Women's Affairs Committee, the Mother and Child Protection Supervisory Committee, and donors presented books and publications for the school library, which were received by the school principal.

To conclude the ceremony, the award-winning students showcased presentations based on their contest topics. Then, four students from Mudita Private High School sang a song titled “The Legacy of National Literature and Culture”, bringing the event to a close.
