Prize-Presenting Ceremony: Shan State CM awarded the prizes to the winners

The Prize-Presenting Ceremony of the Shan State Government Chief Minister’s Cup Invitational Badminton Tournament was held on December 23 at the Indoor Sports Stadium in Taunggyi.

First, the Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, together with state ministers, officials from state, district, and township-level departments, and other responsible persons, watched and encouraged the matches of the open mixed doubles event and the open men’s doubles event.

Afterward, during the Prize-Presenting Ceremony, awards were presented to the winners in U-11 girls’ and boys’ singles, U-11 girls’ and boys’ doubles, U-13 girls’ and boys’ singles, U-13 girls’ and boys’ doubles, U-15 girls’ and boys’ singles, U-15 girls’ doubles, U -15 boys’ doubles, U -17 girls’ and boys’ singles; U -17 girls’ doubles and boys’ doubles; U -17 mixed doubles; open men’s doubles, open mixed doubles and veterans’ doubles. The prizes were awarded by the State Chief Minister, State Ministers and relevant responsible officials.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and responsible officials visited the State Sports Training Center, where, under the guidance of the Shan State Government, the State Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department and the Department of Consumer Affairs were selling eggs, cooking oil, and rice to retired civil servants (pensioners). They also observed and encouraged the provision of healthcare services jointly carried out by the Shan State (Southern) Public Health and Medical Services Department, Sao San Tun General Hospital, and the Women and Children’s Hospital, it was reported.
