Princess Aiko has started working at Red Cross Society

Japan’s Princess Aiko, the daughter of Emperor Naruhito, has started working for the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The Princess arrived at the society’s headquarters in central Tokyo on Monday morning. The Princess said she will try to quickly get accustomed to her workplace and be of help to other people. She will work as a contract employee in a section overseeing training and seminars for volunteers, while continuing to perform her Imperial duties.
