President Xi welcomes more Dutch companies to invest in China

Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte in Beijingon Wednesday.

At the meeting, Xi said China will expand the import of high-quality products from the Netherlands, expressing hope for a fair and transparent business environment for Chinese enterprises in the Netherlands. Rutte also said the Netherlands is ready to strengthen cooperation in economy and trade, and reducing carbon emissions, adding that the Dutch side will enhance coordination with China in multi-lateral settings such as the G20 as well as issues regarding regional and global hotspots. At the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Rutte is paying a working visit to China on 26th and 27th March.
