The Mong people in the village of Lao Tỷ Phùng of Viet Nam are making a collective effort to preserve a unique musical instrument.

In 2020, they established a panpipe club with 22 active members, all sharing a passion for panpipes, traditional singing, and dances, regardless of age. They gather weekly to play panpipes and pass on their skills to younger generations.

Authorities in the Tam Đường district prioritize preserving and promoting Mong cultural values, emphasizing community involvement. Through joint efforts, the local community is preserving their cultural identity, contributing to the development of national cultural heritage.
