





A ceremony to present certificates of honor to the contributors and donors who provided support and assistance to the national sports teams that secured medals at the 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games was held on March 7th at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Sports Training Camp (Gold Camp) in Nay Pyi Taw.
First, the Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee, Union Minister for the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, delivered a speech of thanks. He then presented certificates of honor to the Patron of KBZ Bank Limited, U Aung Ko Win, who donated 3.55 million Thai Baht in support, President of the Myanmar Yachting Federation, U Moe Myint, who donated 100,000 Thai Baht, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Zaw Zaw Soe, Myanmar Military Attaché to Thailand Brigadier General Win Thu Lin, the Yangon Region Government and Thanlyin-Ayeyar Company Limited, both of which donated 100 million Kyats each.
Subsequently, Deputy Ministers and relevant officials presented certificates of honor respectively to the sports federations, companies, and individual donors who contributed between 50 million and half a million Kyats to support the Myanmar sports teams.
The ceremony concluded with a group photo session. It is reported that the contributors and donors collectively contributed a total of 3.65 million Baht and 473 million Kyats to support the national sports teams that had won medals at the 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games.
