Preparations Underway: Chief Minister Inspects Preparations For 75th Martyrs’ Day

Chairman of the Work Committee for organizing the 75th Martyrs’ Day, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and regional ministers inspected preparations for the 75th Martyrs’ Day in Yangon.

During the inspectionat the Bogyoke Aung San Museum in Bahan Township, the Chief Minister inspected displays of vehicle and clothes used by General Aung San when he was alive, security measures, manuscripts, cleaning process in the compound, dining room and reading room.

At the Secretariat (former Minister's Office)in Botahtaung Township, the Chief Minister inspected the meeting hall where General Aung San and martyrs lost their lives during a meeting on the 19th of July 1947, and gave necessary instructions. The Bogyoke Aung San Museum in Bahan Township and the Secretariat (former Minister's Office) in Botahtaung Township will be opened to the public for the 75th Martyrs’ Day in line with the COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
