Preparations for Thingyan : Chief Minister inspects construction of pandals in Monywa

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Ko Lay inspected the construction of the central pandal and departmental pandals for the Walking Thingyan Festival in Monywa on Sunday. The Chief Minister visited the Kanthaya Lake area on Bogyoke Road, where several pandals have been set up for the celebration.

He instructed officials to ensure lively festival with safety measures, providing enough water, proper security, and sufficient food donation for Thingyan revellers. He urged all to make sure for the public to celebrate happily throughout the Thingyan holidays.
