Preparation Measures: Meeting for first regular session of hluttaw

Central Committee on Holding Hluttaw Meetings held its work coordination meeting on Thursday. Chairman of the Committee Prime Minister U Nyo Saw attended the meeting and made a speech.

He stressed that the free and fair multi-party democracy general election has been held under three phases, and the dates for holding the first regular session of the third hluttaw have been designated, followed by the invitations to the hluttaw representatives.

He stressed for preparation measures, providing convenient accommodation, security measures, smooth hluttaw functions and media coverage. He called for cooperation and coordination among the concerned officials for smooth process. The meeting reported on the work done by the previous meeting, arrangements for systematic hluttaw functions and preparation measures.

After the meeting, the Prime Minister and party visited the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, Pyithu Hluttaw and Amyotha Hluttaw and oversaw the preparation measures for holding the hluttaw meetings. They also visited the Sipin Guest House and viewed the arrangements for convenient accommodation of Hluttaw Representatives.
