Preparation for Election: Voter List Collection in Chin State Discussed

Chairman of the Union Election Commission U Thein Soe met with officials from Chin State Government and departmental personnel in Hakha on Saturday. The UEC Chairman discussed that preparation measures have been made for correct voter lists in order to hold the multi-party democracy general election on 2023.

Voter lists have been compiled based on the data of the Ministry of Immigration and Populations. It will be double checked with the data of the General Administration Department, and collect the list by the end of April. He urged all to cooperative efforts for successful implementation of the tasks as a national duty.
