Pope Leo prays for victims of devastating floods in Nepal and Tibet

Pope Leo XIV announced his prayers for those affected by the "terrible flood" that has devastated Nepal and Tibet, leaving over 750 dead and over 2,500 still missing.

He prayed for the deceased, the injured and still missing, as well as their families and the emergency services. In a telegram signed by Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Pope commended the deceased to "the clemency of the Almighty" and assured all affected families of his spiritual closeness.
