Roman Catholic parishioners mourned the death of their 71-year-old priest who was killed in an apparent robbery next to his church in Brazil's capital Brasilia on September 21.

According to local media, several men stormed the church, tied up Father Kazimierz Wojno and a lay employee before stealing valuable liturgical vessels. The lay employee managed to escape and alerted the police who had found the priest's body tied up in barbed wire. Father Kazimierz Wojno was from a small town, northeast of Warsaw.
