Philippines ferry fire

The Philippine Coast Guard were called into action on Sunday, after a ferry carrying 120 people caught fire in the waters off Panglao, in the province of Bohol.

The M/V Esperanza Star (ferry) caught fire while traveling from Siquijor province to Bohol province, the coast guard said. The were no reported injuries. The Philippine Coast Guard confirmed the fire was out by 10 am local, adding that a broader investigation into the incident will follow.
