Peru's new International Airport under construction

At Callao in Peru, new International Airport is under construction starting from December 18th 2024.

The new airport operates the majority of Peru's international and domestic flights. According to General Manager of Lima Airport Partners, the airport's capacity will reach 30 million passengers by 2028.

He said that it will be the most modern airport in Latin America, the type of equipment which is used in place for baggage processing, security system, camera system and facial identification will be among the most modern in Latin America.
