Peace Talks: SPTT meets UWSP, NDAA and SSPP delegates

The meeting between the State Peace Talks Team-SPTT and the peace delegations of the United Wa State Party (UWSP), the National Democratic Alliance Army (NDAA) and the Shan State Progressive Party (SSPP) continued its second day in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister at the Government Office Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee-NSPNC Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, SAC member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, and members, UWSP Vice-Chairman U Lau Yaku NDAA Vice-Chairman U San Pae SSPP Vice-Chairman-2 Sao Khun Seng and peace talks representatives attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed the matters to be continued to discuss from the first day meeting, as well as the regional development, education, health and general matters. The opinions of both sides during the two-day meeting were also sought for signing agreement. The third day meeting will continue on the 7th January.
