Peace Process: Peace Talks Team, NDAA (Mongla) hold 2nd day meeting

The second-day meeting of the government’s Peace Talks Team and the delegation led by the vice-chairman of the National Democratic Alliance Army-NDAA (Mongla) took place in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

The meeting was attended by State Administration Council [SAC] Member Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee [NSPNC] Union Minister at the Government Office (1) Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, in his capacity as the leader of the Peace Talks Team, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, Vice-Chairman of the National Democratic Alliance Army-NDAA (Mongla) U San Pae, General Secretary U Kyi Myint, Secretary (2) U Ah Lu, Head of Communications Division U Sai Mauk.

During the meeting, they discussed the peace and development-related affairs and NSPNC member Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein reported on the findings of the analysis team of the NSPNC in the agreements of Part I/II/ III of the Union Accord and Table-2 in Part III to be discussed.

They also approved and signed the agreements received in the three-day meeting. NDAA Vice-Chairman U San Pae and Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae made concluding remarks and gave books marking the Diamond Jubilee Union Day and Myanmar Encyclopedia volume 1 published by the Ministry of Information.
