





The State Peace Talks Team and the New Mon State Party (NMSP) peace delegation held the 3rd day meeting of the 2nd round of peace talks on Friday in Nay Pyi Taw.
Member of the State Administration Council (SAC), Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) and leader of the Peace Talks Team Union Minister at the Government Office Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, SAC member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, Vice-Chairman of the New Mon State Party Nai Aung Min, Joint Secretary Nai Win Hla and Central Executive Committee member Nai Banyar Lei attended the meeting at the National Reconciliation and Peace Center.
This 3rd day meeting focused on implementation of the agreements made in the 1st round of the peace talks, requirements and regional development matters. And, the two sides signed the agreements made in this 3-day 2nd round of peace talks.
Vice-Chairman of the New Mon State Party Nai Aung Min and leader of the Peace Talks Team Union Minister at the Government Office Lt-Gen Yar Pyae made their concluding remarks.
The record book on the SAC’s endeavours for the benefit of the country published by the Ministry of Information and books as well as the MRTV DTH receiver, two feet satellite dish and gifts were presented to the New Mon State Party peace delegation.
