Peace Implementation: NSPNC holds meeting with KNDP delegation

The National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) held meeting with the delegation from the Ka­ren National Democratic Par­ty-KNDP at the National Unity and Peacemaking Center in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

Member of the State Administration Council, Chairman of NSPNC, Union Minister at the Government Office-1 Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and committee members, KNDP Chairman Mahn Aung Pyi Soe and representatives attended the meeting.  

The meeting discussed issues relating to holding multi-party general election by a PR system, election-related peace issues and peace developments in Kayin State. They also dis­cussed ways to reduce armed conflicts and address the problems of displaced people.
