Paying Homage: Cambodian delegation visits Shwedagon Pagoda

The special envoy of ASEAN Chair and Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia Mr. Prak Sokhonn and delegates paid homage to Shwedagon Pagoda on Sunday morning.

First, the visiting Cambodian delegation signed in the distinguished visitors’ book and offered flowers, water and lights to the pagoda. Members of the Pagoda Board of Trustees presented photo of Shwedagon Pagoda and pagoda history book to the visiting delegation.

The Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and party viewed around the pagoda and donated cash for the pagoda. In the afternoon of that day, the Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister left for Bagan from Yangon by air to attend the 7th Langcang-Mekong Cooperation Foreign Ministers Meetings.
